Angie speaking on circular fashion

Story

From Argentina to Berlin: a practice shaped by migration and resistance.

Angie is originally from Argentina and has been based in Berlin since 2004. She didn't arrive through the traditional fashion route — her roots are in social communication, culture, education, and entrepreneurship.

That outsider lens became her advantage: she connects circularity to the stories people tell, the values brands signal, and the systems that decide what becomes disposable.

Circularity isn't only about systems. It's also about memory, identity, repair, and imagination.

Practice

The practice behind the voice: tHERAPY Recycle & Exorcise.

In 2012, Angie founded tHERAPY Recycle & Exorcise, an upcycling and redesign project based in Berlin. It explores identity and self-expression through creative reuse — turning discarded garments into one-of-one pieces and cultural statements.

This is why her keynotes and workshops land: she doesn’t speak about circularity from the outside. She has built it, tested it, communicated it, sold it, taught it, and lived it.

Activism

Ecosystem-building across activism, education, and circular economy.

Angie’s work extends far beyond her own brand. She is a member of Circular City – Zirkuläre Stadt e.V. and part of futurefashionforward e.V., where she supported Fashion Revolution Germany as part of the Social Media Team (2014–2020) and as Head of Social Media (2018–2019).

She also co-founded Green Fashion Tours Berlin, connecting the public with green, upcycling, and vintage designers and independent shops across the city.

Textile waste isn’t invisible. We’ve built systems that allow us not to see it.

Work

From awareness to action — with hands, stories, and strategy.

Angie partners with organizations, institutions, events, and founder-led brands that want circularity to be tangible — not performative. Her work sits at the intersection of textile waste, design intelligence, communication, and culture.
